The saying \u2018It takes a village to raise a child\u2019 is not just a nice phrase: it is a founding principle of how we support our pupils on a daily basis.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">In a society where the relationship between family and school can sometimes seem distant, we have chosen a different approach: <strong>to open our doors, forge connections, and work together to create a caring, consistent and safe environment for every child<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"western\"><strong>A simple, open and everyday relationship<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">For Jeanne Barret, parent\u2013teacher collaboration is not limited to a few meetings throughout the year.<br>It is <strong>experienced every day<\/strong>, in a natural and human way.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Des \u00e9changes informels chaque matin et chaque apr\u00e8s-midi<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Lors du d\u00e9p\u00f4t le matin ou au moment de r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer les enfants l&rsquo;<span>apr\u00e8s-midi<\/span>, il est possible d\u2019\u00e9changer quelques mots, de partager une information, une \u00e9motion, un petit \u00e9v\u00e8nement v\u00e9cu \u00e0 la maison.<br \/>Ces moments simples permettent :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to share a detail that could make all the difference to the child\u2019s day (a bad night\u2019s sleep, a row, some good news, a worry\u2026);<\/li>\n<li>to create continuity between home and school;<\/li>\n<li>to build mutual trust and understanding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These informal exchanges are invaluable: they play a direct role in pupils\u2019 emotional well-being, as they enable teachers to adapt their approach and support.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"western\"><strong>A teaching team that is approachable and attentive<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Availability is one of the cornerstones of our school.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Families can, at any time, <strong>make an appointment<\/strong> with a teacher or the school management to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>get a detailed update on their child\u2019s progress,<\/li>\n<li>ask questions,<\/li>\n<li>to discuss a specific situation,<\/li>\n<li>work together to find solutions or ways to provide support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">We believe that <strong>regular communication prevents misunderstandings<\/strong> and helps to build a relationship based on transparency, respect and a shared goal: to help every child thrive.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"western\"><strong>Quarterly reviews to monitor progress<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">In addition to our day-to-day communication, we send out a comprehensive report every term <strong><\/strong><br>.
